I do not have a special love
Someone to share my heart
An empty feeling so deep inside
Seems life\'s an endless start

Such isolation no matter who
what, where, when and why
The thought that I\'ll remain alone
Makes me often cry

How do I find my special love?
Must I travel near and far?
And pray at night in search of hope
Or wish upon a star?

Have we already met along this path?
If so, please give me a clue
An invisible friend or unknown stranger
Or maybe it is you

If you were my special love
I hope you\'d understand
I would not live to crave for sex
I\'d rather hold your hand

And my actions would speak even louder
Then my words and words alone
I\'d cook and clean and shop with you
And never fuss or moan

So will you be my special love?
And ignite my frozen fire
The magical feeling of being together
That fills the heart\'s desire

So trust your soul and take this chance
To live happy and worry free
I can wait forever to find my love
Will you be waiting for me?

Well this is my second submission. Unlike the first which I had written about 3 or 4 years ago, I did this during the last week. So it's interesting for me to look at that older one and compare feelings of that time to what I have now...

[edit] I had to delete it and re-up it... tried to change the image and it stuffed everything... well I stuffed everything...hehe, thanks for the comments betaisodona and smithal and am sorry they are now gone too...

Well done. The rhymes and theme are excellent, the rhythm could use some work, but the overall effect is charming and poignant...How often are our soulmates right before our eyes?

absolutely the best among all that you've submitted so far.. yes i do agree, if only there's a "love deviation".. haha, this is truly "relate-able".. bad english, is there such a word ?? anyways, fantastic theme, lovely choice of words... now.. if only i can learn to write and ryme, and make sense all at once.. *winks*
